HESSEL | UNDYED | Skipper-Weste aus 100 % Wolle
The Hessel has been a staple in our collection for years. For this version, we have chosen one of the purest forms of wool available: undyed wool.
The Hessel UNDYED is knitted from the same high-quality wool from the Austrian spinning mill Schoeller. A quality that combines the softness of merino wool with the durability and strength of traditional virgin wool.
For this version, we have completely omitted the dyeing process. The color of the cardigan is therefore not created by dyes, but arises from the natural color of the wool itself. The result is the timeless shade Bèèhruin, derived from the fleece of brown sheep.
By using the wool in its natural state, the character of the material is fully preserved. In addition, a step in the production process is eliminated, reducing the need for raw materials, water, and energy.
The Hessel is characterized by its comfortable fit, robust fisherman's rib stitch, and characteristic skipper's details. The cardigan is fully "fully fashioned" knitted, which means there is hardly any material waste during production. The durable YKK block zipper, made from recycled PET bottles, completes the cardigan and ensures a practical and timeless finish.
Like all our products, the Hessel UNDYED is designed with a long lifespan in mind. And when the cardigan eventually reaches the end of its life, we would love to have it back. Within Roosenstein Wolke, we process worn products made of 100% wool and 100% cotton into new yarns for future collections.
The Hessel UNDYED shows that timeless design, natural materials, and responsible production can effortlessly go hand in hand.
