MEIKE | UNDYED | Lange Strickjacke aus Merinowolle

The long wool cardigan | Meike Undyed is the undyed version of the long wool cardigan | Meike. This cardigan is inspired by the French caban. It’s a pure design, without fuss. This version is even purer, as the products in our UNDYED collection are made from undyed wool. This gives the products the natural colours of the sheep. This is not only more sustainable, but also gives a beautiful result.

The yarn we use for the long wool cardigan | Meike Undyed comes from the Austrian spinning mill Schoeller. This yarn approaches the softness of merino wool, but is much more durable. This makes it a cardigan you can enjoy for years, provided you take good care of it.

Roosenstein Wolke items are made to be enjoyed for as long as possible. However, during the design process, we already take into account the moment the product will eventually wear out. This is, for example, why we only use 100% yarns. These yarns can be recycled very well, and we do too! From October 2023, we will collect old clothes made of 100% cotton and 100% wool and recycle them into new yarns for future productions. Furthermore, we have provided the Meike with buttons made from the corozo nut. This nut is extremely hard and therefore super wear-resistant, but also completely biodegradable. This way, the Meike is fully recyclable, reusable and biodegradable.

All well and good, but above all, the Meike is simply a fantastic cardigan that you'll live in for years.
