A second life for wool

Good clothing deserves to last longer.
Not just in how you wear it, but also in what happens to it afterwards.

That's why at Roosenstein Wolke, we've started something new: recycling old wool and cotton garments into new yarns. What began as a small initiative grew faster than we ever expected.

Thanks to all the collected items, a first large batch is now ready for recycling in Portugal. An important step towards our first recycled products.

But perhaps even more importantly: it shows that more and more people are starting to look at clothing differently.

Not as something temporary.
But as something that retains its value.

Less waste. More preservation.

Globally, millions of garments end up in landfills, even though many materials are still perfectly usable. Especially wool and cotton deserve a longer life.

That's why we've expanded our circular program. In addition to our own products, we now also accept clothing from other brands — as long as it consists entirely of wool or cotton.

Not because everything should be recycled.
On the contrary.

Clothing that is still in good condition deserves a second owner first. Sell it, give it away, or wear it longer. Only items that truly have no value left belong in the recycling process.

For us, sustainability isn't about consuming more, but about being more conscious with what already exists.

Back to basics

Our vision is actually very simple.
Less waste. Better materials. Longer lifespan.
