The Crew Neck Skipper's Sweater 100% Wool - Frans UNDYED is named after grandfather Frans Roosenstein. For years, you could always find Frans wearing this sweater in winter. At least, as often as possible. Lieseth and her sister fought over who got to borrow this sweater from their father.

And that immediately shows the strength of the Crew Neck Skipper's Sweater 100% Wool - Frans UNDYED. Tough, simple, timeless, and wonderfully warm, it's a sweater to live in. As a result, the sweater appeals to a very wide range of target groups. It's essentially a sweater for everyone. For everyone who loves the quality that a pure wool sweater has to offer.

Of course, we've changed a few things about the sweater from 50 years ago. Frans's sweater was made of such stiff wool that you could stand it upright. Fortunately, that's not the case with the new version. We make the sweater from the Sport Loden yarn from the Austrian spinning mill Schoeller. But much has also remained the same. For example, like in the past, we make the Crew Neck Skipper's Sweater 100% Wool - Frans UNDYED in beautiful undyed colors. We are so proud of this new step. Undyed wool uses much less energy in the processing process. The sweater is also 100% biodegradable, without anything further needing to be done to it. So, after removing the labels, simply throw the sweater on the compost heap when you're done with it! But before that happens, we'd like to have the sweater back from you. We have our own circular program where we recycle old clothes into new yarns.

In addition, you'll find a special knit pattern at the ends of the sleeves and body. These patterns were formerly used to identify skippers and fishermen in the unfortunate event that they fell overboard. Through this identification, they could be returned to their place of origin.

Finally, as before, we've given the sweater raglan sleeves. This makes the sweater not only a beautiful men's sweater but also suitable for women!
