THIJS | T-shirt 100% Merino

The 100% Merino | Thijs T-shirt is a knitted T-shirt made of 100% merino. This makes it unique, as we produce the Thijs in the same way as all our other products: on a flat knitting machine. By knitting our merino yarn very finely, we have developed a wool product that keeps you wonderfully warm and cool. This is because wool is heat-regulating. In winter, it acts as a comfortable base layer, while in summer it provides a cooling effect. Not many people are yet aware of the fantastic properties of wool in summer, but they should be! Wool is wonderfully breathable, provided it is made correctly, and is also antibacterial. This means you don't even have to wash the T-shirt immediately after very warm days. Just hang it outside or in a humid bathroom to air out.

In addition, merino is very light, which comes in handy when traveling if you don't want or can't carry too much luggage.

Because we knit the T-shirt, it has a beautiful, chic look. Unlike many other merino T-shirts, the 100% Merino | Thijs T-shirt is actually meant to be worn loosely, and not necessarily as a base layer—although it certainly can be! It's ideal under a sailing or ski jacket, but also perfect as a base layer for your golf outfit.

For the 100% Merino | Thijs T-shirt, we use 100% mulesing-free and certified merino wool from our Italian spinning mill. This means that the sheep are kept in an animal-friendly way and that abuse is absolutely ruled out. The yarn is durable, exceptionally soft, and of beautiful quality.

We do want to point out that this is a delicate product. Therefore, wear and care for the T-shirt with care.
