FRISO | Skipper's Vest Frisian 100% Wool

This mariner's vest features a double collar, cuffs, and deep side pockets. It is knitted from a high-quality, almost indestructible virgin wool, with the highest possible anti-pilling properties (class 4 out of 4). This is done by a knitter in the EU, with whom we have been working continuously for over 40 years. Traditionally made for decades, yet still contemporary. Extremely strong and machine washable. The Frisian Skipper's Vest has been a staple in our collection for 50 years! We have combined the benefits of our Frisian skipper's sweater with the convenience of a vest to create an exceptionally strong vest that has remained a consistently popular item in our collection for years. Thanks to its long zipper, the vest can be worn on many occasions, all year round.

The vest can even withstand seawater and keeps you dry during a typical Dutch drizzle. This 100% wool vest is made fairly in our knitting studio, with which we have been collaborating continuously for over 40 years. The yarn used for this skipper's vest is from our Doge Jo Wool. This wool comes from Italian sheep that are treated well. We make the Frisian skipper's vest from the same wool quality as our Frisian skipper's sweater, making it exceptionally strong and pill-free. Wool is a self-cleaning material, so the vest hardly needs washing. Just hang the sweater outside, and all odors will disappear by themselves!
