NAUD | Polo 100% merino

The Naud polo, made from 100% merino, is the first men's item in our "Cool Wool" range. The products in this range are characterized by their ability to keep you wonderfully cool in the summer. It might still sound a bit strange to wear wool in the summer, but once you try it, you'll never go back. Because we knitted the Naud polo from 100% merino incredibly thin and airy, it keeps you wonderfully cool, even on warm summer days. This has a biological origin. The sheep's fleece not only keeps the sheep warm in winter but also cool in summer. That's exactly what wool still does when it's properly processed into a garment. In addition, there are several other important advantages to wearing wool in the summer:

• The superfine merino wool feels very soft against the skin.
• The thin knit wears incredibly light.
• Wool is antibacterial. Unpleasant odors disappear by themselves when you air out the item after a day of wearing it. And no, that's not gross; bacteria cannot survive in wool and really do disappear! This means you have to wash the item much less often. The polo is made in Portugal and is flat-knitted. This is the same knitting method used for the rest of our collection. Flat knitting means that the 100% merino polo comes out of the machine in panels. Unlike circular knitting, we save a huge amount of cutting waste.

All the wool we use is certified and comes from sheep that are raised in a humane way. The buttons on this polo are made from the Corozo nut. This is an environmentally friendly alternative to regular buttons. This is because it has high wear resistance, is easy to manufacture, and is 100% biodegradable.
